For 18 incredible years, Warrior's Weekend has been a beacon of hope and healing for combat-wounded veterans, offering a rejuvenating retreat in the serene waters of Port O'Connor, Texas. This unforgettable gathering unites around 250 heroes, with 100 veterans flown in and 150 traveling by private vehicle, all coming together to honor their sacrifices and celebrate the indomitable spirit of resilience.

As they arrive, greeted with heartfelt tributes from the local community—where flags flutter proudly in recognition of their bravery—these veterans embark on a journey of renewal. Warrior's Weekend is not just an event; it’s a powerful reminder of our shared humanity and the importance of lifting each other up.

Through water therapy and meaningful connections, they experience the profound strength that arises from shared stories and collective healing. The weekend kicks off with a classic South Texas welcome, as surrounding towns line the streets waving flags and honoring these brave men and women who protect our freedom.

Highlights include:

Friday Evening: A warm fish fry with veterans and boat captains, setting the stage for the weekend ahead.

Saturday Morning: The heroes launch at 8:30 am on approximately 200 boats after a delicious taco and fruit breakfast.

Weigh-In: From 12:30 to 3:30 pm at Froggies Bait Dock, where participants gather and share their catches.

Saturday Evening: A BBQ dinner, awards ceremony, and a spirited poker tournament.

Sunday Morning: A heartfelt send-off following a full breakfast at 8 am, as we salute and thank our heroes.
